Some downtime, but hopefully an upside

Earlier tonight, while I was preparing the web server to connect to a new beefier database server, I accidentally messed up a networking configuration that knocked the box offline. My colocation facility couldn't fix it quickly, and after a few hours, I coaxed them into smoothing things out.

During the downtime, I migrated the data to the new database server and at this point I'm awaiting the web server's return to the living and after a few tweaks, things should be running off the new server.

It's funny this happened after a couple weeks of really reliable service from the old hardware.
